Introduction:

Sometimes relationships do not end because love disappears.
Sometimes they pause because silence grows between two hearts.

This poem is about that quiet moment when two people decide to forget their mistakes, forgive each other, and begin again — not as “you” and “I”, but as “we”.

हिंदी कविता

हम हमारी बात करते हैं

चलो फिर शुरू से शुरुआत करते हैं,
हम हमारी बात करते हैं।

थी कुछ ख़ता तुम्हारी, कुछ हमारी,
उसे भूलकर फिर नया आगाज़ करते हैं,
हम हमारी बात करते हैं।

न “तुम”, तुम रहो, न “मैं”, मैं रहूँ,
मिलकर “हम” बन जाएँ,
और हम हमारी बात करते हैं।

फिर वही मुलाक़ात, वही जज़्बात,
ये दिन तुम से शुरू, तुम पर ख़त्म,
हम हमारी बात करते हैं।

हवाओं पर लिखे थे जो संदेशे,
चलो फिर उनको पढ़ते हैं,
वही जज़्बात, वही ख़यालात
फिर से बुनते हैं,
हम हमारी बात करते हैं।

English Translation

Let’s Talk About Us Again

Let’s begin once more from the very start.
Let’s talk about us.

Some mistakes were yours,
Some were mine.
Let’s forget them now
And begin a new chapter.
Let’s talk about us.

Let there be no “you”,
Let there be no “I”.
Together let us become “we”,
And speak about us.

Let those meetings return again,
Those same feelings, those same emotions.
Let the day begin with you
And gently end with you.
Let’s talk about us.

The messages we once wrote in the winds,
Come, let’s read them again.
Let’s weave those same emotions,
Those same thoughts once more.
Let’s talk about us.

Sometimes the bravest thing in love is not leaving, but choosing to begin again.
Because when two hearts decide to listen, forgive, and understand each other, a new story can always be written.
